The PGA Merchandise Show, a professional event providing a platform for the golf business was held this year from 27th-29th January at Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Since the show's humble beginnings in a parking lot back in 1954, it has grown into a comprehensive and highly popular event. The event itself is organised by PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions in partnership with the PGA of America, which incidently are celebrating their 95th anniversary.
From fashion galleries and special exhibits to over 250 educational seminars and celebrity guest appearances, the show was attended by over 1000 vendors from all over the world, showcasing the latest and developments in golf products and services as well as providing opportunities for industry professionals to develop profitable relationships with new retail partners. Over 41,000 visitors from around the globe visit the show, and this year, one vendor in particular was turning heads. Fore Golf launched 'The Academy ForeGolf', which features state of the art golf simulators for golf instruction, club performance evaluation, club fitting, video swing analysis, putting analysis and club performance alteration utilizing the new industry standard in simulation technology.
