UK Weather Inspires Garage Conversion for Golf Simulator

The past 12 months were the second wettest on record in the UK, with records dating back to 1960. The data, released by the Met Office showed the total rainfall for the UK during 2012 was 1,330.7mm (52.4in). The frequency of extreme rainfall in the UK is on the increase causing ground saturation and many cases, increased flooding.
The news does not bode well with golfers. As course drainage systems struggle to cope, more and more golfers are finding themselves stuck away from the game by the forces of nature. Regular players start to lose interest as they cannot play as often as they would like.
For one golfer in Bromley, Kent, there was a simple solution - to convert his double garage into a Golf Studio. Proshot Simulation took on the project and converted the garage into an Ultimate Golf Studio Simulator to the client’s specific requirements. The benefit of the conversion is that the customer can now play the same championship golf course that he enjoyed playing regularly as a member within the comfort of his own home, whatever the weather.
